Construction Manager - NOW HIRING

Do you possess the following?

  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing the construction of single and multi family homes.
  • Able to manage multiple wood frame sites with construction budgets of $8M and up.
  • Proven track record on projects similar in size and scope is a requirement.
  • Knowledge of Timberline Construction Software is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects is a requirement.
  • Certificate/Degree in Construction Management program is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Review and coordinate all consultants from preliminary design phase to issue for construction drawings;
  • Able to plan for and implement personnel requirements for current project; able to plan for recruiting and retention of personnel for future projects.
  • Establish estimates and construction schedule.
  • Provide guidance and direction to site superintendent.
  • Monitor construction activity and budget to ensure that schedule and budget targets are being met; provide weekly status reports.
  • Maintain communication with Site Superintendent and Consultants throughout the construction process.
  • Assume full responsibility for the management of each project assigned through to completion

Site Superintendent - NOW HIRING

Do you possess the following?

  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing the construction of single and multi family homes.
  • Able to manage wood frame sites with construction budgets of $8M and up.
  • Proven track record on projects similar in size and scope is a requirement.
  • Knowledge of Timberline Software is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects is an asset.
  • Completion of trades program is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Site construction activities as directed by Construction Manager
  • Conduct weekly site trade meetings, produce agenda, minutes and weekly site status report
  • Oversee and direct site personnel required for the project
  • Review all plans, specifications and subcontractor scopes and report any discrepancies directly to Construction Manager.
  • Review construction schedule with Construction Manager and ensure that all trades and suppliers are aware of critical dates.
  • Maintain communication with Construction Manager, consultants, and inspectors throughout the construction process
  • Assume direct responsibility to ensure the quality of construction, products and finishes are at an acceptable level as set out in the Operational Standards Manual.
  • Supervision of each project assigned through to completion.

Our Site Superintendents assume overall responsibility of site construction activities under the direction of the Construction Manager.

Quality Control Superintendent

Do you possess the following?

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the construction industry
  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
  • Good computer skills – Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with Timberline and Microsoft Projects software is an asset
  • Above average attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment

In addition, Quality Control Superintendents assume the responsibility of maintaining the Safety of our job sites in accordance with WorkSafe BC regulations.

Project Coordinator

Do you possess the following?

  • Minimum five years experience in the construction industry
  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
  • Above average computer skills – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Relevant construction experience - contract administration, shop drawing review, document management
  • Familiarity with Timberline and Microsoft Projects software is an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Able to take direction and work with minimal supervision once assigned a task
  • Willing to work hard (including heavy lifting)
  • Willing to learn new skills on a daily basis

  • First Aid Level 2 is an asset
